As of January 2023, at the request of the L-CF District’s insurance company and the direction of the L-CFD Board members decision, all renters will be responsible for providing a Rental Agreement form, a Hold Harmless Agreement form and proof of homeowners insurance certificate. These documents are required annually and will be kept on file for repeated rental reservations.
Most homeowners’ insurance companies will not charge for a proof of coverage certificate as those companies allow for your insurance coverage to transfer to another building for the purpose of meetings or family celebrations. If there is a charge, it is usually quite minimal.
